Which ended up being the foundation of our business.
Vortex Web Innovate was formed in 2011 to build websites and web applications for American businesses. This happened because we were good at the boring work
We took pride in being able to maintain systems long after launch, because that is when the real value appeared – the ability to keep working with a product in production, to change it safely and to make money out of it for the long term. To date, this approach has been successfully applied to over 200 projects.
Moreover, it is what differentiates us today. Every technology cycle tends to generate a wave of companies which can make a demo of some kind, and only a few know how to operate systems in production. In 2011, this meant mobile apps; in 2016, cloud platforms; and today, it is AI. The demo is always easy – the production is where fortunes are made.
Thus, our value proposition remains the same, albeit applied to different technologies: systems, maintained in production, by teams who understand how they work.
What working with us is actually like
Senior People, on Your Work
The person who knows the most about your discovery is on your delivery team. At Vortex Web Innovate, we do not have separate levels of management between you and the people implementing your solution.
We Say No
We do not promise to deliver everything you ask for, we say you are wrong, and we refuse to build what we know will not work. A company that promises to deliver everything you ask for tells you nothing.
Written Over Verbal
Architecture decisions, risk registers, and runbooks are written documents stored in version control. Verbal agreements vanish with the wind, but written code survives code reviews.
We Stay
We do not measure our success by the number of new logos on our quarterly reports; most of our revenue comes from repeat customers.
